Matthew graduated from Rutgers University. He also attended Rutgers School of Law In Camden where he was involved in the Hunter Moot Court competition. While at Rutgers Law, Matthew completed an internship with the Honorable Fernandez-Vina in the Law Division of the Camden County Superior Court. He interned with the Camden County Office of the Public Defender. After law school, Matthew clerked for the Honorable Michael J. Kassel in the civil division of the New Jersey Superior Court Camden County where he was also involved with the court's mediation program.
