Karen graduated cum laude from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and a concentration in Marketing. She went on to obtain her law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center.
As a summer associate with a solo practitioner in Florida, Karen conducted a survey and tabulated research for an article published in the PIABA Bar Journal, Winter 2006 edition evaluating the possible bias of industry arbitrators in three person arbitration panels.
