Brian attended Penn State University. He then graduated cum laude from
the Duquesne University School of Law. While in law school, Brian served
as a legal intern for Judge Jeffrey Deller in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court
for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Brian wrote two
articles while in law school, one for the Duquesne Criminal Law Journal
regarding the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Kennedy v. Louisiana,
554 U.S. 407 (2009) at 1 Duq. Crim. L. J. 34 (2009) and another for the
Duquesne Business Law Journal regarding the U.S. Supreme Court's
decision in 14 Penn Plaza v. Pyett, 556 U.S. ___, 129 S. Ct. 1456 (2009)
at 12 Duq. Bus. L. J. 313 (2010).
