Civil litigation has been Gary Sharlock’s principal area of legal work for the past 40 years. Starting with a general practice in 1954, after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, he has defended Federal Employers Lawyers Act and grade crossing claims against railroads and has represented them before the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. He has defended product liability lawsuits against an agricultural manufacturer industry including a precedent setting appeal to the United States Supreme Court. Defending the insured and insurers in a wide variety of lawsuits constitutes his usual work at present. He still maintains a general practice to serve clients of longstanding in their real estate, business and estate matters. He is one of the founding partners in the firm of Sharlock, Repcheck & Mahler since 1972 until its merger with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien & Courtney, P.C. |
