Alexis graduated cum laude from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Finance and Marketing and a minor in Political Science.  Alexis went on to obtain her juris doctorate from Villanova University School of Law where she was the recipient of the Memorial Scholarship and the Patrick J. O'Conner Scholarship.

While in law school, Alexis was a member of the Environmental Law Journal and served as Symposium Editor, organizing the Symposium "Low Dose Toxicity: Scientific Controversies, Regulatory Efforts and Potential Litigation."  Prior to joining the firm, Alexis served as a juducial law clerk to the Honorable Paul Innes, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division, in Mercer County.  During her clerkship, Alexis also worked as a certified mediator in the Special Civil Part.
