Michael graduated from the University of Scranton in 1999 with degrees in Political Science and History. He went on to obtain his law degree from New York Law School in 2002. Between 2002 and 2003, Michael practiced insurance defense as Sellar Richardson, P.C. in Roseland, New Jersey. After leaving Sellar Richardson, he practiced at Hardin, Kundla, McKeon Poletto until 2008 where he was also working in the field of insurance defense.
