Megan graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Philosophy, and from Widener University School of Law, where she was a member of Phi Delta Phi Harrington Inn, Honor Chapter. She has extensive litigation experience in the Delaware court system and has argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the Delaware Supreme Court, and the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. Representative cases include Gude v. Rockford Center, 699 F. Supp. 2d 671 (D. Del. 2010); Chambers v. City of Frederick, 373 F. Supp. 2d 567 (D.Md. 2005); Johnson v. Campbell., 332 F. 3d 199 (3d Cir. 2003) and Lexes v. AIU Insurance Co., 815 A.2d 312 (Del. Supr. 2003).
Megan is resident in the firm’s Delaware office, where she serves as the managing attorney. She is a member and past chair of the Women and the Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association (2009-2011) and a past president of the Delaware Humanities Council (2005-2007). |
